T20 World Cup 2022: The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team left Mumbai on Thursday to participate in the T20 World Cup in Australia. The only notable absentee from India’s T20 World Cup 2022 squad was the yet-to-be-announced replacement for injured pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah. His Indian squad hit the ground running after arriving in Australia, with Rohit Sharma’s men kicking off their preparations for the T20 World Cup on Friday with their first training session at Perth’s WACA Stadium.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a photo of Indian players and support staff looking to start their training session in the brightest sunshine. “Hello and welcome to WACA. #TeamIndia is here for their first practice session,” the BCCI wrote on its social media accounts.
