Crack open a new can of Pepsi, because the Kardashians need all the healing energy they can get when it comes to Kanye West.
Fashion designer Yeezy is once again at the center of controversy over his recent Paris Fashion Week show, which featured the rapper and models wearing “White Lives Matter” T-shirts. West made matters worse by attacking Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson for criticizing her presentation, causing fashion industry leaders to turn their backs on her.
Now, West’s former in-laws are voicing their long-standing frustrations over his attention-seeking antics, with Kendall Jenner subtly backing singer Jaden Smith to quit the show.
In a series of tweets posted Tuesday, Smith wrote that he “had to take the plunge” after what he saw on the court.
“I don’t care who it is if I don’t feel the message that I’m out,” she wrote in another tweet. “Black Lives Matter.”
Jenner, who has modeled for Yeezy shows in years past, liked all three of Smith’s tweets, making it clear where she stands with her ex-brother-in-law.
Sister Khloe Kardashian, however, was less discreet about her distaste for West’s antics, slamming the musician for dragging his ex-wife Kim Kardashian into his mess.
On Wednesday, West shared an Instagram post addressing the backlash referring to his earlier claim that he was denied access to his children with Kardashian, who has repeatedly rejected his accounts of their co-parenting arrangement.
“Why did everyone feel so free to attack me with my shirt, but Candace Owns was the only public figure who said it was wrong for the Kardashians to prevent me from seeing my daughter,” West wrote. “Or we just step in when we want to tear down a black man for having a different political opinion.”
Having absolutely nothing, Khloe Kardashian went straight to West.
“Yes, I love you. I don’t want to do this on social media, but YOU keep bringing it up here,” she wrote in the comments. “You are the father of my nieces and nephews and I’m trying to be respectful, but please STOP tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to get sidetracked.”
“Again with the birthday narrative. Enough is enough. We all know the truth and I think everyone is tired of it,” she added, claiming West is not telling the truth about not being guest at daughter North’s birthday.
“You WANTED separate birthdays. I’ve seen all the texts to prove it. And when you changed your mind and wanted to attend, you came. As you stated, she’s the one who takes care of your kids 80% of the time.
The good American designer ended her message by insisting that she comes “from a place of love” and sharing her hope that “children can be raised peacefully.”
Of course, this didn’t sit well with West, who blasted Khloe Kardashian as a “liar” in a later post.
The bitter social media exchange comes just days after Khloe Kardashian and her sister Kylie Jenner supported West in his runway debut as a model at the Balenciaga show.
Although Kim Kardashian was a no-show, her sisters sat front row with her niece North West at the event, where the rapper’s youngest children, Saint West , 6; Chicago West, 4; and Psalm West, 3, also attended.
