A man was stabbed to death by three people in Sunder Nagari under Nand Nagri police station in northeast Delhi on Saturday night. A heavy police force has been deployed there to prevent any untoward incident as the killing may trigger tension in the sensitive area.
The deceased has been identified as Manish. He was rushed to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
“Around 7:40 pm, we received a call from PCR reporting about the incident. After preliminary investigation, three youths, Aalam, Bilal and Faizan, all residents of Sunder Nagri, have been roped in as prime suspects “, a police officer. said
“As of now, the motive for the killing appears to be an old enmity,” the officer said.
Speaking to IANS, Sushil, the deceased’s brother, claimed that Manish was stabbed by three people named Alam, Bilal and Faizan.
“The three are friends of Mohasin and Kasim, who are currently in jail for attacking my brother. They had threatened to take revenge, and today they stabbed my brother to death,” Sushil said.
