To check PNR and train running status live on WhatsApp, passengers will have to enter the 10-digit PNR number in the chatbot developed by Railofy.
To Check PNR Status and Live Train Tracking on WhatsApp: Save Railofy Train Inquiry Number (+91-9881193322) in your smartphone contact list. Then open WhatsApp and go to the chat window of the Railofy chatbot number. Type a 10-digit PNR number in the chat window and tap send.
Railofy chatbot will send details like PNR status, train status and alerts. The chatbot will now continue to automatically send you real-time train status on WhatsApp. Note that you can also check train status by dialing 139 from your phone. However, the process is not only cumbersome, but also not without human error.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Indian Railways today canceled a total of 176 trains including Mail, Express, Super Fast and Passenger for various reasons across the country. 17 trains have been diverted while 23 have been rescheduled. All passengers who have booked tickets on these now canceled trains are automatically cancelled. The ticket amount will be refunded to the user’s account. Passengers who have booked tickets at counters must visit the booking counter to claim a refund.
The canceled trains include those operating between Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh, among others. Railways has asked passengers to check train details by visiting https://enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/mntes or NTES app before planning their journey.
