Puerto Ricans are starting to rebuild their lives after Hurricane Fiona knocked out power, washed away roads and bridges and damaged homes. It’s a feeling terribly familiar to many on the island.
Luciano Bozzolo’s truck raced into the mountainous interior of Puerto Rico. It was on a mission to deliver generators, food, water and other vital supplies to areas devastated by Hurricane Fiona.
“We got a call from a friend for help,” Bozzolo, 43, told USA TODAY by phone while driving Tuesday.
